Residential
school for deaf children, Camden |
Our client had bought a redundant church building, which they wanted to convert into a nursery. We obtained planning permission and Building Regulations approval. The works were then carried out by the client's father, who is a contractor. The conversion involves inserting a new steel framed floor structure, to provide two floors of nursery space; the kitchen and staff areas are at basement level. Life in the nursery starts in the ground level baby rooms- with direct access to outdoors- with the older children 'graduating' to the loftier spaces amidst the trusses. |
