We worked with Rhyl Primary School to produce proposals for a new entrance
and a masterplan for re-landscaping the school grounds, for which we obtained
listed building consent and planning permission. The intention was to get
much more use from the available space, both for children's play and for
National Curriculum-related learning. Proposals included a new sports pitch,
an area for physical activities, quieter spaces and a garden, together with
a new Arts and Technology pavilion and an external courtyard where parents
can wait for their children. The scheme as developed with Elizabeth Banks
Associates, landscape architects.
