In order to make the most of the available external space between the rear extension and the neighbouring house, the flank wall to existing kitchen was removed and an infill extension built to create a new dining area.

Skylights at the front and back of the extension, retain natural light to the main part of the house, and sliding-folding doors enable the space to be opened up to the garden. The project also included opening up the living rooms, and creating a new entrance hall.

Materials include aluminium-framed doors and skylights, reclaimed timber boards extended through from living space, with linoleum flooring in the kitchen.
