ACAN’s Demolition Map was publicly launched this 8th May, with Alice invited to join the panel discussion. Eva Voulgaridou explained the motivation of the work that the ACAN Existing Buildings group have been doing over the past year to set the map up. The idea originally came from ACAN Sweden, who kindly shared their resources and experience- we hope ACAN UK can follow their example by raising the profile of issue of buildings which are being needlessly demolished and hopefully saving some.
